The Conestoga Chapter of the Studebaker Driver’s Club was established in 1968 as the Colorado Chapter to provide monthly fellowship and activities for Studebaker drivers in Colorado.   In 1972 the Pat Erickson Memorial (PEM) Chapter (now the Pikes Peak Chapter) was formed for Southern Colorado, and the Colorado Chapter was renamed Conestoga and it serves northern, central, and western parts of the state.  In 1973 the Conestoga and PEM Chapters hosted the 9th Studebaker Drivers Club International Meet in Colorado Springs, which was the very first SDC International Meet to be held outside of South Bend, Indiana.  In 1987, the Conestoga Chapter hosted the 23rd International Meet in Estes Park which turned out to be one of the most popular SDC International Meets ever held.

We continue to be an active and growing driver’s club today.  Activities include car shows, potlucks, demonstrations, luncheons and tours of local sights.  Please join us with or without your Studebaker for some fellowship and fun during any of our monthly activities. Meetings are usually the fourth Sunday of the month with a few exceptions for special events (see calendar of events).
